The design for this weapon isn't much more complicated than that; if you look at the picture above you can get a good gist of what's happening. Basically we just opened up one of those Nerf guns with the LED sight and shoved in the board from a disposable camera. We replaced the wires connecting to the LED with longer ones and soldered those to where the battery would normally go, and then taped down the switch that allows current to to flow to the capacitor. This made it so that the capacitors would start charging when the trigger is pulled. After that we connected the capacitor terminals to an evil-looking metal thing we pulled from an electric screwdriver. We put the casing back, tidied things up, and we now have ourselves a Nerf gun taser thing.
We had to cut a few things from the case to get everything to fit, but otherwise this build went rather smoothly. The bottom picture, in case you haven't noticed, shows the final device.
This is an a easy weapon that anyone with a Nerf gun and a disposable camera can make, but again let me stress that this thing shouldn't be messed with by anyone who doesn't know what they're doing. (If you have no idea what a capacitor is, stop right now.)
There you have it, a simple Nerf gun electric weapon. Please electrocute responsibly.
